Son of Andrew Stuart Donnan, (who appears in the "Donnans in Virginia" published by John Quarles Donnan Esq. of Norfork Virginia) and Charlotte Louise Nicholson.

Our immediate family calls it the Donnan book. My father is the son of Andrew Stuart Donnan and Catherine Hack. We go back to John Donnan, of Stoneykirk, and Mary Stewart, of Kirkinner at Wigton, Scotland. My wife Florence and have 4 sons, 2 daughters, and 14 Grandchildren.
